No vehicles will be able to proceed along Meaux Lane, Wawne (between the A1035 & Skirlaugh Road junction) commencing Wednesday 15 September 2021 to enable patching works to take place safely.

The working hours will be 09.15 - 15.30 for the pre surface dressing patching works along Meaux Lane, Wawne.

The Council will be sending out a notification letter to the residents of Wawne in advance of the works.

The Road Closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 28 September 2021.

The alternative route for traffic affected by this closure will be via Meaux Road, Sutton Road, Wawne Road, Bude Road, John Newton Way, Raich Carter Way, Beverley Road, Hull Road, Eastern By-pass, Swinemoor Lane & the A1035.

Access will be maintained for the Emergency Services, Resident’s access, and Pedestrians only.
